Have you ever wondered how $1B (Netflix, Google, Microsoft) prioritize projects (or features, or services) without sacrificing efficiency and customer satisfaction?
Well, here are the 4 most powerful frameworks they use (from $0 to $1T).
Believe me, this works if you use it effectively.
1. Market Feedback Loop
Don’t spend a single minute creating ideas in your head; you know all of them will succeed without even being tested.
Everything changed when I found this framework.
Use your target market feedback to direct your actions and project.
2. The RICE framework
This framework is one of the easiest and most used for the prioritization of successful products (or features, or services)
However, most use it wrong (the downside) because values are subjective, leading to inconsistencies calculations.
3. The MoSCoW method
Prioritize them at all costs.
Often, these are mandatory products (or services, or services) (must-have).
Often, these are enhancers to must-have (should-have).
Nice-to-have to increase cash flow, efficiency, or decrease payload loading (etc.)
Product (or features, or services) that you know you don’t need.
Keep control of them (technology changes faster)
4. The Kano Model
I like this model. It includes customer development + product (or feature).
The positive: Help you prioritize customer-focused products (or features or services)
The downside Is that categorization can be subjective, leading to inconsistencies.
